I use endomondo for tracklogging which works well for what I do, but I’m wondering if anyone can recommend a free app which does the upload a GPX type file and it’ll give you a big arrow to point in the right direction, type thing? basemap is optional, but it must be free

(unless I can find my viewranger codes..)

    oh and must be Android

If you have Viewranger you can get the codes just by logging into myviewranger and authorising the device.

Had viewranger, I may have the codes I guess. Is it still OK an app? it may have been symbian though I’m pretty sure I changed it over…

anyhow, any alternative freebies I should be looking at?

It’s a fantastic app. It doesn’t matter what the original maps you had were for (Symbian etc) they will still work with the android or iOS apps.

You’re right. Lost the original maps, one email later and my map selection was there.

    Great stuff.:-)

They are amazing. If you want to test out some of their new features, you can use the Beta version of the app. You have to go through google+ to do it, but it’s really simple and quick to do.
