I saw a pic of a smart phone app which helps in the set up of your forks in another magazine.
Any idea what the app is
or will I have to stick to a ruler

Fox ird, seems to be for apple as I can’t find it on Android. Also only works for latest forks…2013, I think.

What does it do that a rule doesn’t?

I think this is the one that connects via bluetooth to the shock pump that is connected while your ride and it measures the feedback. More of a shop tool than anything else really.

Almost completely OTT, but has anyone seen the Gates belt app? It uses the microphone while you ping the belt to measure the tension – ingenious…

Saw the Fox app in action at the weekend. Came up with wildly different results on the same bike/rider when the process was repeated. No more scientific than putting bit more/less in until it feels “right”. 🙄
