Not an ebay purchase, but spotted this in an antiques shop, as soon as wifey saw it, she knew it was destined for our house.
When i enquired they said it’s not for sale it’s going outside to hang on our wall, made em an offer they couldn’t refuse.

I can imagine, especially f you wanted to put it next to the bomb.

I do like the briefcase on the bonnet though.

“Currently, this example is being presented as a static aerospace artefact, and it is not set up for high-speed testing” Boring.

I wonder what the original design brief was:

“We need a high speed flying lab” or “make me something that goes fast and looks even faster. And instead of go-faster stripes, strap four more boosters to it”

That’s one hell of an auction. Buyer and seller commission should make the auction house a few quid.
I’ll take the Merc SLS for Sunday and the Enzo for the rest of the week.
On special occasions the XJ 220 could come out.

    £60k – £80k seems a bit steep for a VW camper.

The Testarossa, 512tr and 328GTS looked like bargains, given their condition 😀
