    The packhorse trail above Marsden is usually best left alone in winter because most of tends to be swamp, but when it’s frozen it’s smashing fun.

    Glad I went out yesterday, though. Snow is great but there’s a lot of ice hiding underneath it now. Watch out for yourself if you’re out in it today.

    I was out yesterday myself. The ice was unreal. Took me 15 minutes to get along one section of trail that was like one constant sheet of glass for just over 1KM. But we havent had any snow here yet.

    Cheers! There were a quite few long sections where you had to ride off the edge of the trail or risk ending rubber side up without warning. You can see a bit I managed to ride over at 0m50s, there was lots of stuff like that. But I was surprised how much of it was in really good condition, it was a smashing ride overall. 😀
