Milton Friedman commenting on the state of South American economies does fall into ‘you really couldn’t make it up’ territory. As if the economic policies applied throughout the continent, for the past few decades, had nothing whatsoever to do with him and his mates in Washington and Chicago
Anyway….. Milton would have seen all this as a positive thing….
