    Anyone know a bike shop in or fairly near to Ambleside with a decent rental fleet? Going up there this weekend and would like to have a bit of a play. Only one i've found so far has some fairly budget sounding Orbit offering.

    theres Biketreks (ambleside), wheelbase (staveley) and the bike shop at grizedale forest

    Wheelbase in staveley do them too, bit further South but its another option.
