Bought myself a new Five Pro at Christmas time and been loving it for the last five months. Been building up to my week out in the alps and then a weekend in the Lakes with the lads when I get back.

Why oh why does the rear hope hub completely implode halfway up a 1500m vertical climb!? Take it to the local bike shop here in Switzerland and there’s nothing they can do for the rear hub (except build a new wheel or buy a new one!!) Bikes sure pick their time hey!?

He also said that the bottom bracket is knackered.

Surely 5 months isn’t very long for both of these to go!? Does it sound like a warranty job for hope?

Also recommend me a new bottom bracket, the race face x type one seems like it’s made of cheese to me!

Hub would certainly get replaced by hope for free I had a similar issue on a much older hope hub. As forBB yeah it’s easy to do for one in six months.
