6'2" and 'broad shouldered' too. XL fits OK, a bit baggy round the waist, but they all tend to be to get the shoulder width. It's a bit boil in the bag though, nothing like as breathable as I expected.

I'd consider XL I'd go L purely for my arms and back which are on the long side but I'm a skinny get so don't need the width.

xl for me also ,but it does allow for my muscles and 6 pack.

6'4" here, got an XL, it's quite baggy, also not very cycling specific, a bit short in the arm and back but doable.
For your build and size I'd suggest L.
Not breathable but very visible!

Pop down to your LBS , try one on and buy what you know fits you .
