    Hi chaps,

I’m looking to buy a waterproof and breathable jacket for all day riding, love the idea of an Endura Stealth, but it’s a litle pricey…. are there any good alternatives anyone can suggest?

    Cheers,

    Ricks

I bought a Stealth about 4 yrs ago and found it too warm most of the time, so it doesn’t get worn much – maybe 3 or 4 rides a yr, when it’s cold and crispy. I tend to use a FS260 or MT500 most ot the time, with varying thickness of merino base layer.

If it’s wet I put a thin shell on top

Heavy soft shells be too much for riding, go light.

ive got a north face apex elixir. thin, very light soft shell. packs small and layered with merino does the job.
