My mate was round the other day, and liked how I can stream spotify etc to various Airport Expresses round the house.

He wants to set himself up, and has asked me to help.

I only ever considered apple, as everything else we have is apple. He will be streaming from windows laptop, but needs to buy pretty much everything else (3 rooms worth of speakers, amps and airports)

Is there anything else out there I should look at?

If he needs to buy all that lot, he may as well just get a bunch of Sonus stuff

The amps will be the little Lapai 2020’s, I have a couple and at about £25 they’ll do.

Not looked at sonos, is it the same concept/pricy?

Sonos is a Wifi speaker unlike Airport Express which needs additional speaker

Aaaah, ok. I’ll look at those when I’m round there (on phone at moment). In my smaller rooms I have the AE with a pair of ‘computer’ speakers (sound stick iii’s) so per room would be around £170

Will some cheap Bluetooth receivers not do the job?
