I have a 456 with an XT crankset which suffers from chainsuck a bit, I don't fancy taking a hammer or g-clamp to the chain stay though.
As my BB sounds like it on its death bed I thought about getting one of those new Saint BB's which have longer bearing cup threads and using three spacers on the drive side to move the chainrings further from the chain stay, and no spacers on the non-drive side.
Other than slightly moving the chainline out, would this actually work?
