  • Alternative bolt for Split pin thru Pads ?

    Saw these in a mag, are they avaialable online ?

    They replace the split pin with a wee bolt and ring.

    Shimano deore pads.

    Thread resurrection, but no one seemed to know of an answer 6 months ago, and I am looking for an alternative now.

    Am looking for a bolt + snap ring to replace the standard split pin, have tried using one from an M775 but it didn’t fit.

    Hayes Strokers have a bolt and snap ring set-up. The bolts are made of cheese though so I removed them and put split pins in their place.
