Dunno on a whole week but was in Winterberg in the summer and got a few hours in the park. One high speed lift, twelve runs in 2 hours, loads of variety. The Bell freecross track is one of the most fun things I’ve ever ridden.
Trying to sort a lads long weekend for next summer. Hurtgenwald is also just down the road from my in laws so might have to take a trip to that too when we’re visiting, only 3 hours from Calais on a good run.

this was the thinking… more riding and less driving 🙂

I spend the Summer in Leogang/Saalbach/Hinterglemm.
Glad to hook up and guide if you need it,

    Definitely!
Spent a few weeks doing a loop around Czech, Germany, Austria.
    Brilliant riding.

    Highlights were:
Geiskopf Germany, Spicak Czech, Saalbach Austria.

Loads of amazing riding out there but you will do more driving during your stay. Worth it though. Morzine was starting to feel a bit like Butlins to me… 😀

3hours from Calais? Ok I’m interested. Costswise (pass etc and food, accommodation) how does it compare to the overdone Les Arcs?

We could combine it with a stopover in Bruge(?) and friends in Koln.

The only ‘bad’ thing is having to put up with Belgian drivers again.

Any good German riding that you can easily fly to too?
