    Anything cheaper than Dog Tag

I’m only needing it for 4 days on the uplifts, but dogtag is a min of 10 days at 45 quid or so.

    Anyone found anything cheaper?

    How is your German?

Deutsche Alpeinverein (German Alpine Club) will cover you for 12 months anywhere in the world* for all Alpine activities including climbing, skiing, kayaking, caving and mountain biking. All for 65 Euros membership. Also comes with other perks if you spend time in the Alps.

(*some limitations on organised expeditions outside Europe)

Only really covers rescue from mountain (Helivac, etc up to 25K Euros) medical costs resulting from any accident, and 2 million third party liability, so not a typical holiday insurance, but I reckon it is worth it if all you want is basic cover for a worst case scenario.
