Easyjet flights for next year are out. Fancy going somewhere with lifts but more xc big views/days riding instead of bike park type stuff.

Have been to Morzine a few times and that’s still on the list. Looking into Meribel/Courchavel and Alpe D’Huez. Any other thoughts for Geneva accessible resorts that would offer that type of riding?

Are the Pyrenees Geneva accessible? I’ll have a look at the others though.

La Clusaz and Megeve look options. Any good hints about rides, guides and places to stay in either?

Zurich isn’t too accessible from our local airport and would kind of tie down our choices early. Davos looks good though.

Looks a bit far tbh. Mebbes check it out though. From a trip to Verbier previously, Swiss trains are hideously expensive. Transfers in a van to Annecy or Mont Blanc are cheap!

Actually, 5.5 hours minimum on the train. Mebbes no.

If you’re looking for big days out then I’d go with a guide…Bike Village holidays are amazing for proper back country epics … or if you want a personal guide for odd days then Emily Horridge at theinsidelinemtb.com

Both based around Les Arcs / Meribel etc…

Ooohhh. Not so keen on the lots of climbing. Do enough of that at home. Thinking of lift for elevation, rolling route with views down then pick up and home. I’ll have a look at both suggestions for Meribel though.
