    Fantastic. That bronze is his as far as I’m concerned. My mate wrote his biography a few years ago, top guy and one of my heros. Totally did it despite the system. That would be fantastic if he competed in track, I’d love to see that.

    He mountain bikes a lot too.

    interesting , was only yesterday that a mate whos on track squad mentioned that alain and his brother were at the gym they use. Didnt click ….

    Just seen this on the BBC, Alain Baxter is aiming to compete in Track Cycling in the 2012 Olympics. He was pretty handy on the bike in Superstars, so this could be a great switch. Has anyone won medals in bothe Winter and summer olympics (I still insist he won that bronze!)?
