Currently sat in the departure lounge at Southampton Airport, woman next to me is knitting, with proper full sized pointy needles (not that i know if there are any other type of special travel knitting needles available).

Surely these are more dangerous than a pair of nail clippers, tweezers or nail scissors?

Wonder if she has to wait for the seat belt sign to go off before she starts knitting on the plane?

Who’s to say she’s not from the paramilitary wing of the Women’s Institute—she could be knitting a crossbow 😯

My sisters have had theirs taken off them.
