Hi, I’m thinking about selling my Santa Cruz Chameleon to fund a new bike, but have little idea how much I should be asking for it. It’s in great condition generally, with lots of decent / recent parts. Not sure if it’d be worth more complete or broken down – any sensible advice would be much appreciated. Thanks!
Spec is as follows:
2010 Santa Cruz Chameleon 26er frame (large / 18.5in), powdercoat respray in early 2016, a handful of small superficial marks, eccentric BB replaced in 2015
2016 RockShox Reverb 125mm drop
2016 RockShox Sektor 120-150mm
2016 Schwalbe Nobby Nic tyres F&R (loads of tread, run tubeless, never punctured)
2016 Easton Haven stem 55mm
2016 Easton Haven bars 740mm
2016 Works Components -1deg headset (head angle is approx 68deg)
2016 DMR V12 pedals
2015 XTR BB
2015 Zee mech / shifter, SLX 11-36 cassette
2015 Hope narrow / wide 30t chainring
2010 Stans Flow / Hope Pro 2 26in wheels (straight, good bearings)
2010 Hayes Stroker Trail brakes 160/140mm (recent pads, pistons & seals replaced, working fine)
2010 XT Hollowtech II cranks
It’s been fantastic and is a really fun, versatile bike – I’m currently running it rigid / SS:
