Need to get my car checked out and MOTed but don’t know where to start in terms of finding a decent garage. The only local one we have made a complete balls up of my girlfriend’s camper van. Is there a decent website that reviews local garages? Or does anyone know of a decent one in North London. Near Crouch End/Finsbury Park?

    Any tips welcome!

There is a fair garage scheme thing going on which garages can apply to become part of the scheme.

I used a garage in my teens tho and they ripped me off a few times by mis-diagnosing and fixing the wrong faults, etc so I wouldnt read anything in to any of those schemes.

The one I use now was recomended by the other halves Dad and have used them now for about 7 years and totally trust them.

Do you know anyone who can recomend you a garage?

    It’s a nice and simply Citroen Berlingo…

Not many of my London mates drive, so no recommendations up here.

If in an unfamiliar place, e.g. you’ve moved house, this is useful

i’ve used 2 garages from the good garage scheme. both have been good (both were also garages, but that doesn’t really need re-stating 😉 )
