Have just built a new fully rigid mountain bike (have built it for road / light tracks) – very happy, however the carbon rigid fork i bought will fit a hybrid 700 wheel….?

Have this idea that i could get a 29 inch wheel built up on a disc brake hub (ie so cant use a normal hybrid wheel / rim) with a 1.5 tyre of some description (currently running a slick on deore / ritchey wheels)

Has anyone done this on a rigid bike….? and how did it go….?

Any suggestions and which website to get it built…? Ive used merlins wheels before but its confusing trying to get this – best to ring…?
