just checked out the reviews on 'Bikeradar'.. apparently the seals arent that good ! could be a problem with wet gloopy mud in the autumn winter seasons then.. people that have them have cut a strip of innertube to go over the shaft…

    needs plenty of grease too…

anyone got any good reviews on this peice of kit ? or is there a similar product that i can look at…(leisurelakes bikes) ?

Many of my friends have them in the South of France / Italy and report no problems. So i have gone and ordered a few.

I think its the wet gloop of the uK tat kills many MTB compnents..

The design's supposedly been changed now, but the old design was constantly slated, it just wasn't fit for purpose. Maybe that's fixed now. Still, unless you need the 5 inch drop Gravity Droppers are still lighter and rock solid reliable. Just more expensive and uglier.
