JCVD was the villain in Expendables 2. His character was called Jean Villain or somesuch.

Hardly a ‘good guy’ in From Dusk Til Dawn.
Again, he’s still the protagonist. You end up rooting for him. If you try and compile a list of flawless heroes you’ll end up with a short list of dull characters/films. Flawed characters make fictional stories interesting, without flaws the hero would have nothing to overcome, no journey to go on. The more extreme character flaws are anti-heroes. Even this is a fairly old concept.
