Anyone had issues with Achilles heel pain after a ride? Went for my usual 1-2hr spin on Monday…first thing Tue I could just about stand but not walk and ended up with my LEFT heel wrapped in ice and my foot up on a chair all evening. Today…it’s a good bit better with no pain although it still feels a little tight.
I usually use the 109% saddle height rule but lowered my saddle by about 10mm the other day as I had some lower RIGHT thigh muscle / knee pain which I know I get from the saddle being too high or too low. Rest of the ride was great with all thigh pain gone. Bar height, saddle level & distance from bars are all the same.
My mileage is more or less the same so nothing new there.
Any ideas?
