I've been asked to let as many cyclists and mountain bikers know the Wortley Hall near Sheffield is now offering bed and breakfast accomodation for £22.50 per night.
Wortley is a great location to stay, the cross country and downhill trails of Wharncliffe are less than 3 miles away. Cut Gate is just a few miles further down the road and the Peak District is only over the hill.
For the roadies and tourists there are a plethora of scenic country lanes that quickly take you into the heart of the Peak District. If you fancy a real challenge the Strines Moor (as featured in the Tour of Britain) is only a few miles away.
All said Wortley Hall is the ideal location for a cycling break, be it taking advantage of the quiet country lanes or exploring the local bridleways and countryside you will not be disappointed. Add to that staying in a stately home complete with secure lock up facilities and room to fettle your bike you won’t be disappointed.
To take advantage of this great offer please contact Wortley Hall reception on 0114 2882100 or visit the website – http://www.wortleyhall.org.uk

Yes, following Stan's recommendation 4 of us stayed at Wortley Hall for 3 nights at beginning of May. We all thought 'top venue'. £22.50 each per night, with great breakfast included, very good indeed. On the 3rd night we were the only residents in the 49 room hotel. Made us feel like Lords of the Manor. Top location. Great beer and food in nearby Sheffield, and the food and beer at the hotel was very good too, along with snooker room, pol room, and more. Top recommendation Stan, thanks. Brian of NorwichPosted 7 years ago #
