A mate and I are planning a trip up north in a couple of weeks. Staying for a couple of nights in Aviemore seems like the plan, so what good value MTB accomodation would you recommend? B&B-type accomodation would be the obvious choice but I'll take any other ideas too.

HIGHLY recommended, although it's a hostel rather than a B&B. If you are lucky Ian might make you porridge – he is the reigning World Porridge Champion, believe it or not!

look up Rothimuchrus estate, they have a campsite with space for tents or you could rent a log cabin

great location 10 mins by bike into town on cycle paths and 5 mins from bothy bikes and its right in the middle of a forest
