Ive been looking at getting some more cover after another ear bashing from the wife. Any one use a specific company with good results when needed ? Doesn’t need to be mtb specific but has to not have it as an exemption. Any pointers ?

Summit (the BMC insurance company) are pretty enlightened about outdoor activities. My income protection and critical illness insurance is through them; everyone else wanted to multiply the price by 1000 when I mentioned climbing and MTBing.

Did you try CTC/BC? They include some really useful benefits for members and might have links to other underwriters for more cover.
