mesmerising and just a little unsettling.
Hattip Boing Boing
i like them.he/she is a very good artist.good imagination too (would love to have a mech of my own
'Neoretrofutureism' Now there's a niche school of art!
Class. Liking that very much
I don't often say this about art but they are bloody brilliant. I really like the style of them. Now I wonder how much a print would be and if there is any way I can convince Mrs_Ache to let me put one up.
I love it, think I need a few pieces on my wall.
Like this. Reminds me of the designs and situations in Half-Life 2. Some of the paintings are signed with a date of 2012.
Dystopian Roger Dean...
Sort of steampunky.
Only with Swedes in flares and anoraks rather than young Victorian ladies in revealing corsets.
I like that, cheers for sharing
They are good. Like the juxtaposition between the older Swedish cars and the futuristic working machines.
It's the plausibility of the scene setting that makes them just a little bit edgy to me. A bit like:
*runs behind the sofa*
I like those a lot. Cheers.
Stoner - tops marks for the Friday Street pic.
Flicking through the site not logged in.
Just HAD to comment - these are **** amazing - the style, the content - everything!
A very clever person indeed.
cheers, glenp, I think? What's a "Friday Street pic"?
Those prints dont seem too expensive, do they? .....
mmmmmmmmmm...I don't like these. I find them disjointed and unevocative for the most part.
Perhaps this one I like but maybe just because it sums up how I feel about his work, 'What the bicycle is that! It doesn't make any sense.'
Ditch the dinos though.
Thanks Stoner - fantastic link
Technically, very good. I like the way he paints people (cars too), but the subject matter doesn't do anything for me. Like book covers for Philip K Dick books.
Great find. Can't find much info about the artist though, when were these painted?
there's an "About Me" section on his website... Any more info?
I much prefer the ones that only hint of something - ones where you have to fill in the gaps. I don't like the ones with actual robots/dinos/etc.
I like that, makes me want to know more about the subject in the picture
