    I know Mavic changed all their rim names a long while ago, but i still can’t get my head around it.

    Does anybody know what an F519 rim has become? I.e. the mid weight (not XC, not DH) v-brake brake rim.

    7 is the price range (or quality bracket)
    19 is the width in mm.

    as i understand it!

    XM is cross mountain?
    XC is cross country?

    More cracks in my Mavic rims today. All my bikes have them but I do wonder why sometimes.

    bigyinn – I know mavic x517 was the 231 replacement. Beyond that, I have no idea.
