That is so sad and a tad concerning that some people take things that far.

Well if you intended on doing anything then you wouldn't of bothered posting, even though you hint at having his address.

**** me! do people really get that excitable about a bike forum?

Ton just put whoever it is out of their misery, they are obviously to unstable to function in real world and need to spend some time in a nice padded room in a white huggy jacket.

Ton, if someone threatened me or my family & I'd be round there like a shot to shut them up, or maybe call in a favour or two & get the big boys to do it if I thought the need be.
I can't stand mouthy ****, & probably like you, not short of the ability to put my money where my mouth is 😉

Edit, I had the same thing on a car forum many years ago through the PM system, I gave him my address so he could carry out the threats, & asked if he would reciprocate, funny enough never heard from him again 🙄

People do mix up real life and interworld.
Anyone remember I was getting threats at work, how they were going to come round and they weren't leaving without money?
When I visited them in person to sort it out, they told ME to calm down?
It was all very embarassing especialy after getting all wound up and ready to do God knows what only to find they were three mice like men.
I actually felt like a school bully afterwards.

i have to be honest, i once emailed scruff off here, after he called me a racist for no reason.
i was very annoyed but apologised afterwards, but i would not threaten anyone.
it is the act of a coward, a very slippy and slimy thing to do.

"they do say there a lots of wierdos on the Internet, I think this site demonstrates that admirably."

this site is probably a reasonable cross section of society…

Joking apart – anyone who behaves like that ought to be banned from here – why should we be buying stuff from them and it's not like they even pay to be on sell.

Many moons ago I had a bloke walk in & demand his money back, less a grand, on a car we had sold a year previously to his 'girl', he explained he had been away (we thought he was out of the country) for a while & we had sold her a dud (in fairness it was a TR7 & they were all 'duds'), anyway we laughed at him, all three of us, he then politely informed us that this was our last opportunity to refund him & beyond this point it would cost us 'more'. we laughed again & he just calmly got on the

& asked for " two cars", we laughed some more & waited, funny how a dozen '****' (his words not mine)with shotguns in 2 Rolls Royce's turning up change your mind, funny enough he ended up getting his extra money.

People who make threats don't particularly worry me.

It's the people who turn up, give you a good kicking and only explain why they did it afterwards that worry me!

This happened to me a few years ago coming out of a pub. Unfortunately for me it was a case of mistaken identity. Unfortunately for him he wasn't as Chuck Norris like as he imagined himself to be!

You should hear what I tell the cold callers from India! Calls I get maybe 2-53 times a week.
There's a pause, "Can I speak to the owner of the business please".
I don't actually bother anymore – I just hang up – but last year, the air was blue 'round these parts.

Sometimes they actually ring in on both office lines, at exactly the same time.
I reverse the handsets and let them chat to each other! 😀
