Just curious, these are the only forks that I can find that’ll fit these fat tires…

No. Well not just “no” obviously, you could do it but it would handle like a (insert analogy for something that handles appallingly here).

Frame is design around a pretty short axle to crown length, pretty much for a togs fork or maybe a 100mm says fork. Surly rigid forks will take 3″ tyre?

What forks are they? Can they be lowered? Perhaps with an internal spacer or witchcraft, then all could be good.

Thanks for the advice 🙂 I’ll try and find a short travel fork then… I really want some suspension to rip through everything!

Balfa are gone, but one of the former protagonists is involved with Xprezo these days.

I would if it wasn’t a hardtail and designed for 100mm forks max. Might put it on a full sus fatty I’m building though!
