Lots of lovely stuff – keep thinking I really want a Tallboy LT. Then I check the price and have to have a lie down. Notice a Spectral 9.9 amongst the pics – anyone tried one and how does it go. The Tallboy is the dream but the budget means Canyon might be best bet!

Crap photo but just got this built up the other night 😀 can’t wait to give it a ride on Saturday, try to get the shock tuned a bit. The Sektors are probably a bit short for it but I’ll get a Lyrik soon. Needs new bearings as well, somethings clicking when the shock is compressed.

Getting on a bit now, but it’s the best bike I’ve ever owned – I’m quite poor (because I have kids) and I don’t have much room for bikes (because I have kids) and I don’t have as much time as I’d like for riding (because I have kids) So “N+1” just doesn’t work for me – my bike has to be tough and flexible enough to be fun riding to the shops, riding around trail centres and bumping through my local woods, down (and up) Bike Park Wales and not get sand kicked in it’s face in the Alps by teenagers on V10’s – and it does all that, even with my fat arse on it.

Love it more than anyone should love a pile of Alu and rubber.
