My new road bikes came with a press fit BB, as expected it has started to creak, a surprise to no one at all. It is PF86 and has an Ultegra BB in it.

So before I throw £100+ on a Hope or Praxis BB to (hopefully) fix the problem is there anything else worth trying? I’ve had the crank and BB out, given them a greasing and reinstalled and whilst this did fix it in the short term, the creak was back soon enough.

I got a swinnerton cycles ceramic enduro pf86 – my old shimano was creak central, it popped out easy with the back of a wooden handled hammer strike, the new one slipped in nice with lots of grease and just used a G clamp and wood plates, no creaks and massive improvement in crank rotation.
