Just got back from an excellent weeks biking in PdS, so thought I’d share a couple of tracks for people to follow:
Col De Cou – This starts at Pre Le Joux bike park and heads over to the Col de Cou, then down to Barme and Champery, then back again. A very scenic ride with a good sense of achievement when you reach the top of the CdC + a ridge ride down!

We hired a guide (Arnaud Kugener, pro freestyle skier, great bloke) for the last day and did some excellent singletrack that took us out to Morzine and back to Chatel (where we were staying).

Be warned, the singletrack beyond “Panoramic” trail, heading straight down the mountain gets very very steep and rocky! I was extremely chuffed with myself clearing the lot, but there were a lot of falls by others and you could easily suffer an injury. Even Arnaud had to walk one part 🙂 If you like techy, steep singletrack, then this is for you!

We also rode Champery WC DH whilst out there. That really is something else and is a must do! Beyond black is not doing it justice. Its incredibly steep and being able to get down is some achievement, let alone racing it (and in the wet?!*?!). It is possible to get all the way to the bottom, which we did on a separate occasion – heres a vid, sorry about the audio, dont know what came over me!
