    Have some 9sp ones from my old road bike which I thought I’d put on my newer 10sp road bike but are chainrings for 10sp thinner to cope with the narrower chain? I would have thought it would be OK but have seen chainrings advertised as for 10sp.

    It works for me (9 speed 105 on 10 speed setup).
