Been offered some fors as per title, off a Giant Anthem. They are air forks, what's the chances they can be adjusted to 100mm d'ya reckon?

Pretty good I reckon – I'd be suprised if they bothered making an 80mm specific version.

Strip them down and the lump of rubber in it can be cut in half. Instructions on RockShoc web site.

    You will need circlip pliers.
It is one lump of rubber with 3 grooves , marking where to cut.

Clubber – My thoughts exactly 🙂

Not spacers like other RS air forks?

Not got a link by any chance? 😀

I would have thought it would be a 20mm spacer – the lump of rubber would most likely be the bump stop. I just serviced a set (also hoping to increase travel).

As far as I can remember the Tora's have a spacer that has 5 marked sections which can be cut to give travel increases in 10mm increments.
Removed one from a mates forks about 6 months ago to give 130mm travel.

Maybe so, but these are Recons, which are more like a budget Revelation…..

You could be right though. 🙂

    OOPS, my bad 😳

(must learn to read things properly)

Hang on , aren't Recon's just Tora's with alloy stantions?

OE – likely they are 100mm max if they are 130s swap you for a freshly serviced 4inch set 😉

Or Revelations with a steel steerer tube, one or the other! 😉
    (There's damping differences too)

Yes, I'd imagine 100mm would be about right. I'll be servicing them myself.
But you'd break down in tears if you knew how much I'm paying for them….. 8)
