    Charley Varrick.

    The Taking of Pelham 123.

I did hear that they were remaking the Pelham one. Have to be good to beat Walter Matthau at his best.

Not a film, but a series – The Red Hand Gang (You'd managed to forget it, hadn't you?)

Films? Well, apart from Kelly's Heroes and the dirty Dozen, what more does a chap really need?

Bought the French Connection (£3 HMV) as well! 🙂

Rollerball- is it still 'in print'? That was brilliant.

cfh, Kelly's Heroes is all you need really. Gold, tanks, a great theme tune, Telly Savalas and Donald Sutherland.

which reminds me – Catch 22 wasn't bad as a film- not as good as the book of course, but not bad.

For a modern day take on 70s sci films I can thoroughly recommend Moon. Very much a tribute to the slow burning sci fi films of the 70s like, Silent Running, 2001, Dark Star etc.

Ski, I was in HMV yesterday and bawked at the 16quid cost for Gran Torino. Probably a great film (revenge etc) but not 16quids worth. Got me thinking….remembering the great films that were made in the 70's. Scarface is still abit mainstream but I just love the mountain of coke- Pachino the pitbull off his face with coke allover him firing a M16 rifle and shouting you wannit ****, you ****, come and get it you ****

OK, does anyone remember the name of:

Horror movie which has something to do with salmon getting infected with toxic waste, who then turn into human/fish looking monster who attack a fairground next to a river, ends abruptly, low budget, terrible acting?

    Anyone remember the name?

It was that bad it was actually entertaining to watch.

Any of the Hammer Horror films where a young pigface would catch his first glimpses of female flesh.

A car film where the last scene was the goodies/baddies escaping and then hitting a train. Anyone remember it?
