  • 661 Rage kneepads – are they same as Kyle Straits?

    As title really. Just wanted to know if they’re different and, if so, how? Loved my Kyle Straits but they’re buggered and now discontinued I think. Basically, are the Rages any good? Ta.

    Roughly the same, though some little differences in fit and the rear seems a tighter fit.

    The sizes seem different. Had a small size with the Straits before which used to slip down a bit and on the size chart I went for medium for Rage based on my leg measurements and they seem similar fit, and still one of them slides down sometimes, despite the tight feel behind the knee. Though I may just have funny shaped legs.

    Generally feel much like the Straits to me, large enough for confidence but not in the way generally and keep the knees warm.

    deadkenny – cheers for this. They sound right enough. A fraction of the cost of some of the posh pads, too.
