So thinking about building some light bicycle wheels from 650b 35mm rims and wondered if anyone has done this and found them too stiff.

I’m considering using a light spoke, sapim laser, to work in a little flex.

I’ve build 29er wheels with lasers and they have been ‘just right’

I use the LB 35mm 29ers they feel stiffer than an arch but the extra tyre volume you can run more than makes up for this.

I run mine on a fully rigid bike so would maybe notice a bit more than on a full sus.

Mine are built with light spokes. I do really like like them
