What sort of terrain? I’ve been happy with Schwalbe G-ones on muddy farm tracks, country lanes and unrestricted back roads, but they were a b*gger to fit on Stans Crest rims.

Depends how big your 2″ are!
Seem to be plenty of folk squeezing a 2.1 Thunder Burt into frames that only officially take 2″, and if one of those fits, thats exactly what i’d take.

I’m using Thunder Burts, and they’re great (within limits of grip), am considering Terrene Elwood for more road/ gravel riding.

    Thanks guys
Anybody know how the thunderburt measures up on a rim?

I have just put some 650b x 2.0 specialized fast track, which roll well and decent grip too.

    err… about “Yay big”…? 🙄

There’s enough clearance to use them on a Mason Bokeh with about 5mm either side at the chainstays with the tyres on a Hunt 650b wheelset.

I was looking into this a while back

I pulled out these, which looked great but I couldn’t find them in the Uk so may not be much help:

Otherwise Continental Race King’s looked another option, but are a bit fatter

Don’t think the race king 2.0 comes in a sensible carcass does it?
The RaceSport isn’t officially tubeless ready, so its either back to tubes, or inflating tyres every day.

Another vote for Fast Tracks here.
Running a set tubeless on Hunt wheels and no issues with them.
They’re only £10 or £15 each at Rutland Cycles as well which is a pretty good price.
