Yes. I have one spare if you want it. 190x50mm.

My existing shock is 200×50 – it just means a reduce of 10mm in travel?

    Where are you/condition and….how much? 🙂

You’ll get the same travel but a lower BB and slacker head angle going from 200×50 to 190×50.
Might be issues with the wheel or swingarm bottoming on something though.

If you’re still interested, it’s is decent condition considering it’s age – some wear to the anodising on the shaft, but functionally it’s totally fine – holds air and oil, no leaks.
    £40?

No need for pics then. I can pop round tonight (or whenever is suitable).

I’ve ran mine for 2 years without even having to top up the air. Check out the TFT website as how you setup the 2 air chambers is crucial to stopping them from failing completely!

Is it possible to self-service? Looking online for help on this.

Anything is possible to self service given the right equipment and knowledge.

No need to worry about nitrogen charging your shock if you have a risse shock pump. Just insert the needle into the magic rubber valve and discharge/recharge the IFP chamber with this.

Just make sure you measure the correct depth of it before taking it apart.

I don’t think the 5th element is nitrogen charged.

The platform damping is adjusted by changing the pressure behind the internal floating piston (which is where a ‘nitrogen charge’ is on most shocks with an IFP design).

On that basis it should in theory be relatively easy to self service.

Well if there is no nitrogen charge then it should be really easy. Just make sure you bleed it properly or the damping wont work. I quite fancy having a go at this myself now.

Hora fancy a trip to brum to service/investigate your shock?
