    Hi
Just received my frame (second hand specialised fsr comp, circa 2008) and I have a quick question was just about to order up a BB (73mm shell size) but have seen they are 113mm or 118mm in length and suit chainlines of 51mm and 56mm, so I need a little guidance please
    Thanks
    Mike

What cranks are you running? 50mm is closer to what you want.

a 113mm bb will get you nearer to 50mm, but if you find that chainring too close to the chainstays of the frame and suffer a lot with the frame from chainsuck a 118mm bb would give you a little more clearance and will provide a chainline nearer 52-53mm (its 5mm wider so only 2.5mm extra on both sides)
