I have a pair of three year old VXI 5:10s and noticed last night one of the soles has started to come away from the bottom.

Before I break out the super glue is there a better suited adhesive? Apart from that they’re in good condition so I’m loathed to bin them.

Superglue I found doesn’t work very well.

Gorilla Glue stays a little bit flexible so lasts ages.

    Superglue is to hard, avoid.
Shoegoo or Gorilla Glue works much better as it doesn’t dry hard.
Alternatively, take them to your local independent cobbler who will throw a glob of glue on them for little or no outlay. Just make sure you take the next pairs of shoes that need repairing to them and not Timpsons.

Shoe Goo is horrible stuff but it does stick shoes to shoes effectively.

    Shoe Goo FTW
I have a pair that are mostly made of it, still working fine.

Look for Goop adhesive on Amazon or E6000.
Absolutely perfect and cures like a rubber compound.

Got some Shoo Goo a while back to do a minor repair, has held up OK since. Superglue didn’t work at all.

    Great stuff, thanks.

Just picked up some gorilla glue as my local diy store had some in stock.
