I think I probably shouldn’t use a shim, what’s the thoughts on this?

My Jones Loops were supplied with a shim..

I don’t see any reason why a 25.4mm > 31.8mm shim wouldn’t be a perfectly good solution.

I have just bought him a nice new (second-hand) bar 😳 Should have looked at stems before I did that I suppose!

The ones on his bike at the moment are steel. I also have a new fork for him. I’m thinking I should just replace the headset too while I’m at it?
