    Now, I know less than nowt about road bikes…so passing on my brothers request to you good folk.

    He’s not currently a serious cyclist but is keen to try road cycling. I think he’s got a lycra fetish, but anyhow he’s asking if this is a good starting point…

    Will be through his companies BTW scheme.
    Would he be better picking up one from Decathlon just in case he doesn’t get in to it.
    If he does get into it I might have to join him. 😕

    Those frames are nice, I nearly got one for my wife.
    Although the running gear on a Decathlon may be better, that Giant will be upgradable if he gets into it and sellable if he doesn’t.

    Before anyone else says it, the £500 B-Twin bike at Decathlon is brilliant for the money.
