    I took this lot apart to swap the BB over, and on putting it back together the front mech (which I didn't move) doesn't line up with the rings properly anymore. I suspect I've cocked the spacers up despite being careful to count them off from both sides.

    Anyone know exactly how it should go? I think I've got, from NDS

    Cup -> Frame > Spacer -> E-13 -> Cup

    If it's a 73mm shell, then ditch the DS spacer as the backplate replaces it.

    Hmm – according to On-One, it's a 68mm shell which means you should have a spacer on either side plus the backplate…. this won't change your chainline, only your NDS crank positioning.

    Either the web info is wrong and it's a 73mm shell, or it was set-up wrong previously….

    456 is 68mm for sure. sillyoldman has it right.

    Actually, there may be a spacer on the NDS also.

    Do you get different sized spacers?

    2 spacers on the drive side, 1 on the non drive side,

    or

    1 spacer on each side + chain device

    or

    if its ISCG (Summer season frames?) then you need 2 spacers as the chain guide is on the frame not the BB.

    No, it's a standard DN6 456

    I'll have a play about with it. Are BB shells different sizes? It wasn't a Shimano one that came off
