Anyone running a double and bash with a 456?
Have got some chainsuck issues with my current set up (110mm square taper 😮 ) so am considering other options. Shimano site says SLX double and bash gives 46.something chainline, I think the 456 needs 50mm.
So is it possible? Extra spacer on drive side?
Have ordered a 118mm un54 to see me through in the mean time, just wondering if anyone uses double and bash on these bikes?
    Cheers

    Hey,

I run an E13 DRS, with the BB mounting plate.

Run it on a 456 and 5-Spot without any probs.

They tend to go for about £50 on the classifieds/Ebay.

Highly recommended, and with lots of clear fitting info etc on the E13 website.

    Can't big them up enough

    Hope that helps!

    Hi,

I'm running the slx double and bash, with the extra spacer on my 456.

I very rarely use the smaller chain ring, so it pretty much stays on the top ring for most of the ride avoiding the chain suck issue. shifting to the smaller ring is normally ok, but yes very very occaisionally i get chain suck. I figure that i have to be more delicate in dropping gears on the front.

    hope that helps
