Mate has just bought frame, wants to build it up and as I had one a few years back (in standard 26″ variety) I was wondering if:

    – Has anyone used 27.5 forks on it – how does it ride? What has your experience been like? I’m guessing a bigger wheel might mean slightly shorter forks?

    – Have you tried 1X on it?  Is there enough clearance?

    Thanks, in advance

1x will work. 26in straight steerer fork with Angleset is good fix.

What about space for rear tyre width. Possible to get a 2.6 in there?

    I’ve got a 456 Evo Carbon.

    Running 1 x 11

    Also 27.5. 130mm fork. Mate has same, sure he’s running a 160mm

    2.3 tyres, don’t go wider.

    Love it.

1x here too; works great. I’ve got an aged set of Rs Revs dual air (150mm) which are on the cusp of being wandery on climbs. Needs a new headset I think though. Brant, Brant, Brant, do OnOne still sell headsets for my old C456 frame?
