  • 450mm a-c rigid for on an Inbred – ok?

I’ve got an Inbred designed to take 100mm-130mm suspension forks and may switch to a rigid steel fork. On-One’s own carbon rigids have a 440mm a-c measurement which I think is suposed to equate to 100mm sus. forks with sag. The fork I’m looking at is 450mm a-c, which is a bit higher. I’m currently running 100mm Rebas which I believe are tall for 100mm forks (around 470mm without sag, so possible 460-460 with sag).

Would I 450mm fork work well I get a bit confused with a-c heights and compression forces of sus. forks in relation to what a frame is designed to take? I don’t want to bust the frame either!

It will be fine. I recently changed to from 420 to 440mm on my old inbred, rides much better IMO.
