  • 440mm Project 2 forks on an inbred 29er?

    Hi all, as the title suggests, anyone running this set up or will it be a bit steep?

    Be very steep IMO

    29er inbreds are quite steep anyway. Mine felt too steep with the Reba’s I had on it at 80mm (490 a/c unsagged, 470ish sagged) so I upped them to 100mm… Felt a lot better with the extra 20mm ride height up front.

    72 degree head angle on an inbred with a 470mm rigid fitted. They’re not slack!

    Cheers, just trying to save a few quid by reusing the ones off my 26! The surly karate monkey is back on the cards then

    mboy is probably right but I’d be interested to hear from someone who has actually done it.
