    How long exactly is a 4 week notice period:

    1 – 28 days
    2 – 20 days
    3 – equal to 1 month

    4 weeks (i.e. 28 days)? Isn't the clue in the name?

    20 days is less than 4 weeks (or if you mean 20 working days, it may be different due to bank holidays etc.)

    A month is typically more than 4 weeks.

    What I mean by 2 is 4 working weeks, which is 5 business days per week therefore 20 days.

    20 working days. Bank holidays count as working days.

    Assuming you work a standard 5 day week.
